A dozen Crows players will try their hands at coaching this season.
Once a week (schedule permitting), the players will venture to schools and football clubs across Adelaide. The respective roles of the players vary, but involve mentoring and assisting with training.
Ricky Henderson, Aidan Riley, Sam Kerridge, Jarryd Lyons and Brad Crouch will provide strong support at St Peters College, while Ben Rutten (Sacred Heart) and ruckman Sam Jacobs (Immanuel) will also provide their expertise at prominent local colleges.
Former students Jared Petrenko and Brodie Smith will return to Henley High, while forward Lewis Johnston will play a role with the development players at his SANFL club, North Adelaide.
Patrick Dangerfield will continue his association with West Adelaide’s Under-18 team, and defender Matthew Jaensch is committed to delivering a flag for his junior club, Hahndorf, in the Hills Football League.
