Chief Executive Steven Trigg says key decisions about Adelaide’s State League team, including the guernsey and veteran and top-up players will be made in the next month.
On Wednesday, the Crows added respected former SANFL player Jarrod Cotton to their State League coaching team. Cotton, 37, joins State League senior coach Heath Younie and development coaches Matthew Clarke, Peter Jonas, Tate Kaesler and Alan Stewart.
The Club has asked its members and supporters for input on the State League guernsey. A shortlist of the submitted designs will be presented to the 19th Man for a vote next week. Trigg said Adelaide was also moving closer towards finalising top-up players for the team.
“Within the next month, we’ll have an idea of what our State League team will look like in the SANFL competition,” Trigg said in a Q&Awith afc.com.au.
“We’ve got some decisions to make on our veteran player, captaincy and exactly who our top-up players are going to be, so we can get them going by the end of November.
“We’ve engaged our members on the design of our State League guernsey and that’s received a fantastic response. Those designs are being collated now and, in the coming week, we’ll present our members with a short list.
“It’s all coming to life.”
