Adelaide expects captain Nathan van Berlo, Rory Laird and Ricky Henderson to all be available for selection this week.

Van Berlo has made rapid progress from the knee injury he suffered against Port three weeks ago and should rejoin the main training group this week as it prepares for Sunday's clash with GWS Giants in Sydney.

Upgraded rookie Rory Laird, who did not recover in time to face Hawthorn after copping a corked thigh against Carlton, will also be back on track along with Henderson, who withdrew from Saturday’s game against the Hawks because of a sore calf.

The Club is still waiting for confirmation of the severity of Lewis Johnston’s injured knee, hurt during an SANFL match on Saturday.

First-year midfielder Brad Couch, who has missed the past two games with a hamstring strain, is expected to miss one more game.

Adelaide had a light recovery session this morning. There will be no other open training sessions this week in Adelaide but the Crows are scheduled to have a light run at Skoda Stadium, in Sydney, late on Saturday afternoon.
