The Adelaide Football Club is on track to break the 50,000 member barrier for the first time since 2007.
As of Thursday, February 14, in excess of 42,000 members had signed up for the upcoming season – 4,500 more than at the same time last year. This figure includes more than 5,000 new members.
Gold Memberships, which guarantee members access to Grand Final tickets should the Crows progress to the last Saturday in September, are almost sold out.
In ‘07’, the Club had 50,976 members. General Manager of Supporter Services David Couch said the Club was buoyed by the uptake of memberships for 2013.
“We set an ambitious target of breaking the 50,000 member barrier in 2013 and we are currently on track to achieve that figure,” Couch said.
“Growth is coming from high renewal rates as well as significant interest from new members looking to lock away their place at Adelaide Oval in just over 12 months.”
Reserved Seat membership, which includes access to the first round of Adelaide Oval seat allocations, starts from just $24.50 per month (on a 10 month plan). Three-game, junior, Victorian, interstate and supporter packages are also available. View the Club’s full membership catalogue online at 19thman.com.au.
The Club will hold its annual Members Day on Saturday, February 23, to coincide with the trial game against Fremantle at AAMI Stadium. All supporters will receive free admission to the trial, which will begin at 11.30am. Members Day activities, restricted to members only, will kick off at half time in the Westpac Centre and on Max Basheer Reserve.
Crows fans are encouraged to attend and join the growing number of new members on the day.
