Mitch Grigg is expected to be available for Adelaide’s last-ever game at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
Grigg, who sustained a corked hip in the win over North Melbourne, was a late withdrawal from the team that lost to the Western Bulldogs. In-form utility Ricky Henderson (knee) also missed the clash with the Dogs. Henderson will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this week and miss the rest of the season.
Defender Luke Thompson (ankle) is still a week or two away from playing.
Saturday’s game against Melbourne will be Adelaide’s 280th and final at AAMI Stadium. The Crows will also farewell retired great Graham Johncock with a lap of honour before the game (12:40pm). Stay tuned to afc.com.au throughout the week for more details about the Club’s Farewell to Footy Park and check out the commemorative merchandise here.
Adelaide will hold an open training session on AAMI Stadium from 10:30am on Friday (August 23).
