Ricky Henderson will have surgery on his knee and miss the rest of the season.
Henderson, 24, has battled knee soreness for the past two months. The injury forced the in-form utility to sit out Adelaide’s game against the Western Bulldogs on Sunday.
Henderson will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee this week. The surgery is not expected to impact on his availability for the start of pre-season training.
The former rookie played 14 games this season for a career total of 56.
