Adelaide's SANFL captain Ian Callinan has been named in the South Australian squad to prepare to play the VFL on May 31.
Callinan, who has missed the past two SANFL games because of a hamstring injury, is expected to be fit to play for the Crows against Norwood at The Parade on Friday night.
Crows SANFL assistant Jarrod Cotton served on the SANFL’s panel of selectors and will join State coach Michael Godden as an assistant coach for the clash.
The SANFL state team cannot include any AFL listed players from either Adelaide or Port Adelaide.
Callinan, who spent the last three years on Adelaide's rookie and primary lists, is the only Crows player in the 31-man squad.
The selection adds to Callinan’s long list of SANFL achievements, including four SANFL premierships, two club best and fairests with Central District, and a Jack Oatey Medal for his performance in the 2010 Grand Final.
Former Crows Richard Tambling and Chris Schmidt were also selected in the squad.
