Patrick Dangerfield and Brodie Smith have been rubbing shoulders with some of the elites of the AFL as the duo prepare to represent Australia in Saturday night's International Rules test.

The pair flew to Sydney for a practice match against the NSW Gaelic team on Tuesday, before jetting across to Perth ahead of the clash with Ireland at Patersons Stadium. Check out some of the best social media snaps of their IRS experience below.

The one-off test will be shown live on Channel 7 from 8.30pm (SA time).
