The Adelaide Football Club is fast approaching a membership record, as elite football prepares for its arrival at a redeveloped Adelaide Oval.
The counter has ticked over the 50,000 mark, with fans taking advantage of the wide range of affordable and flexible memberships, like three game passes. Find out more about 2014 membership. The Club’s membership has reached this milestone just twice before, with the record currently standing at 50,976 (2007).
The Crows will lead the AFL in 11-game membership sales this season.
Chief Executive Steven Trigg said fans are embracing the move to Adelaide Oval.
“We have more fans buying full 11-game memberships than ever before – many for the first time,” he said.
Fans can purchase a membership for just $50 (adult) and ensure they are part of the exciting journey, soon to begin at a new-look city venue. Three-game passes are also popular with those who can’t commit to a whole season.
“Three-game memberships allow us to expose more people to our games at Adelaide Oval,” Mr Trigg said.
“It is so important getting that membership mix right so we increase the number of fans who experience a Crows game.”
Rosewater resident Kellie Hills, who signed up for the first time, was the lucky 50,000th member.
She also bought a membership for one of her sons.
“Now that I have a season ticket, I can book the dates in my diary and everyone in the house knows Mum is out on those days,” she said.
NBA star and Crows Ambassador Patty Mills is also a proud member.
