Defender Kyle Hartigan has been released from hospital as he recovers from a nasty collision in Adelaide’s SANFL match on Saturday.

Hartigan will continue to recuperate at home before meeting with a specialist in a few days.

He suffered a fractured rib and internal bleeding after going back with the flight of the ball during a marking contest in the third quarter against the Port Magpies at Alberton.
