The pre-season form of Sam Jacobs has lifted the Crows ruckman into Adelaide’s official AFL Fantasy fans team.
Jacobs topped our poll asking for fans to pick our No.1 ruckman, edging out Fremantle giant Aaron Sandilands who we will add to the team as second ruck due to his attractive price.
The two poll questions seeking players from the top ten of last November’s national draft went in favour of GWS forward Tom Boyd and former Norwood midfielder James Aish, who is now with Brisbane.
Jacobs, Sandilands, Boyd and Aish join Crows Patrick Dangerfield, Rory Sloane and Matt Crouch as the first selections in our team to represent the Adelaide Football Club in an AFL Fantasy league competing against some other AFL clubs. See how our AFL Fan Fantasy team is shaping up below.
Over the coming days before the start of the AFL premiership season we will continue to seek fan input through a series of polls on afc.com.au, Facebook and Twitter to choose a team to take on other fans-selected teams from clubs including Brisbane, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Geelong and West Coast.
Fan votes will decide how our team is picked and then also the trades and captain selections throughout the season.
The latest questions below focus on players who have changed clubs since the 2013 season and may add value, plus we want to add the best of the best from the 2013 season and a dual position defender.
So vote now in our poll below and stay tuned to afc.com.au, Facebook and Twitter to continue to have your say in Adelaide’s AFL Fantasy team.
