Fantasy points flowed freely for Adelaide in the Club’s 36-point victory over North Melbourne. Four players broke the 100-point barrier with a Crow veteran leading the pack.

Midfielder Scott Thompson ($484,192) produced a vintage performance against the Kangaroos, gathering 30 possessions, five marks and a season-high nine tackles for 120 Fantasy points. Thommo’s score was his third-highest Fantasy total of the year behind performances against St Kilda (128 points) and GWS (131) earlier in the season. The Crows Life Member has surpassed 100 points in four of his past six outings, but features in barely one per cent of Fantasy teams across the competition. Coaches on the hunt for a durable and consistent midfielder should consider Thompson as Fantasy finals loom on the horizon.

Much like Adelaide’s season, James Podsiadly’s ($351,704) Fantasy form has fluctuated throughout 2014. As is often the case with key forwards in AFL Fantasy, consistency has been a concern for Podsiadly. But J-Pod was back to his best on Saturday night, collecting 19 disposals, eight marks and two goals on his way to 91 points against the Roos. The 32-year-old has benefitted significantly from the return of Taylor Walker, having posted three of his four highest Fantasy scores of the year since Tex’s comeback in Round Nine. Pods could be a great addition up forward for Fantasy coaches on a budget.

Sam Jacobs ($452,242) remains the premier ruckman in AFL Fantasy this year, following another 101-point performance against North Melbourne. Sauce leads the competition for average points and total points scored by a ruckman this season, and has cracked the 100-point barrier on eight occasions in 2014. Jacobs amassed 33 hit-outs, 18 possessions and six marks opposed to highly-rated Kangaroo Todd Goldstein. An injury-affected 44 from the clash with Gold Coast has seen the 26-year-old drop to his cheapest price since Round Five. If you don’t have Sauce in your side already, now is the time to trade him in.

Milestone man Brent Reilly ($373,626) enjoyed a solid return to the senior side on Saturday night, notching 83 points from 19 possessions, seven marks and three tackles. The experienced defender knows how to rack up the footy, evidenced by his 30-disposal and 17-mark performance in Adelaide’s Round Nine SANFL victory over the Eagles. Reilly is generously priced at well under $400k, and could be a valuable mid-price option for Fantasy coaches searching for a reliable investment. With a break even of just 60 points, expect Radar’s Fantasy stocks to rise in the coming weeks as the 30-year-old moves to re-establish himself in the senior side.
