Collingwood has made five changes to its side ahead of its finals-shaping clash with Adelaide at the MCG, with Jamie Elliott and Ben Reid confirmed starters for Sunday's twilight fixture.
Elliott and Reid are set to return from injury, while Kyle Martin, Tim Broomhead and Lachlan Keeffe have made the Magpies' final 22 for Sunday's match against Adelaide. Reid will play his first game of the season after being dogged by soft-tissue complaints.
Veteran defender Alan Toovey was withdrawn from the Magpies' initial squad after aggravating his back during Collingwood's final training session on Friday.
Premiership player Luke Ball (back) will join Brownlow Medallist Dane Swan (foot) on the sidelines with injury, while former captain Nick Maxwell has retired. Pie youngster Josh Thomas is the final omission.
