Adelaide will challenge Taylor Walker’s misconduct charge at the AFL Tribunal.
Walker was offered a $1500 sanction with an early plea by the AFL Match Review Officer for misconduct against West Coast’s Luke Shuey during the second quarter of the Round 15 game at Adelaide Oval.
The Crows captain will face the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday evening from
If the challenge is unsuccessful, Walker’s sanction of $2500 for a first misconduct offence will stand. The Club does not risk a $10,000 fine in this instance as there is no suspension involved.
Crows Head of Football Brett Burton said the Club didn’t think the action warranted a misconduct charge.
"We don’t believe Taylor’s actions were unreasonable in the circumstances so we will be challenging at the tribunal."
