Nine Crows players visited National Crime Check recently to obtain their police checks before involving themselves in Community Development activities.

Mitch Grigg, Dylan Orval, Ben Dowdell, Luke Brown, Sam Kerridge, Brad Crouch, Will Young, Sam Martyn and Cameron Ellis-Yolmen passed the checks with flying colours.

The purpose of the visits was to obtain Accredited Australian National Criminal History Checks as they all see the importance of a criminal check before undertaking community development work with children.

Players who visited National Crime Check (Unit 3, 60 West Terrace in the city) were able to complete an easy and secure online application process with their Criminal History Check returned within 48 hours of lodgement.

Fully accredited by the checking body CrimTrac, (that works with all Australian Police Services), the check covered all Australian states and territories.

General Manager Martin Lazarevic, set up National Crime Check after discovering a need for a faster, more efficient method of obtaining employee criminal history checks.

“I was working in human resources and found myself frustrated with the process which was drawn out and lengthy. It is for that reason that I looked for a better idea to challenge and improve the current system,” he says.

National Crime Check can assist in Criminal History Checks for individuals and businesses.  For more information please visit their website or click here to visit their Facebook page.
