Rory Sloane has been nominated for the AFL Mark of the Year for Round 17.
Sloane charged back with the flight and took a courageous mark midway through the final quarter of Adelaide’s clash with Hawthorn on Friday night.
It was one of many great individual efforts from Adelaide’s joint vice captain in the game against the Hawks, with Sloane also clunking another screamer during the second quarter inside forward 50.

Sloane is currently in third place on 10 per cent in the polls behind Jack Gunston (57 per cent) and Marcus Bontempelli (33 per cent).
James Podsiadly (Round 13 and Round Seven), Scott Thompson (Round Five) and Rory Laird (Round 17) have also been nominated throughout 2014, but a Crow is yet to win a weekly poll.
