Ambassador Damon Gameau took time out of his busy schedule to cheer on his beloved Crows on Saturday.
Damon, partner Zoe Tuckwell-Smith of Winners and Losers fame, and young daughter Velvet were guests at the Club’s function at Etihad Stadium.
Damon is taking the film and literary worlds by storm with his documentary ‘That Sugar Film’.

The Australian actor and film maker stars in and directs ‘That Sugar Film’, described as ‘One man's journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar’. The informative, funny and entertaining doco, which is in select cinemas now, features guest cameos from the likes of Hugh Jackman, Stephen Fry and Isabel Lucas. The film is already in the top three Australian documentaries of all time. His book, cleverly titled ‘That Sugar Book’, reached No.1 in the country in April.
Damon, who was born in Adelaide but lives in Victoria, was keen to catch a Crows game live before heading off to New Zealand, South Africa and the US to continue his film tour. That Sugar Film will also be released in selected US theatres and on demand in July. The release is being handled by Samuel Goldwyn Films, who also released the hit documentary Super Size Me.
