Sam Gray could replace namesake Robbie who remains under an injury cloud heading into Sunday's Showdown XXXVIII.

A calf concern kept Robbie Gray out of the Power’s win over Hawthorn last week, with Port Adelaide yet to make a call on the midfielder’s availability for Sunday’s clash with the Crows.

Sam Gray was the standout performer in Port Magpies’ loss to Norwood at Adelaide Oval on Anzac Day eve. He appears first in line should the Power take a conservative approach into this week’s Round Five fixture.

Gray collected 30 possessions, 13 clearances and kicked a goal against the reigning SANFL premiers.

Andrew Moore served the first of his three-week suspension last week for contact with an SANFL umpire and cannot be considered for Showdown XXXVIII.

Paul Stewart is set to undergo a fitness test after being concussed in the Magpies' loss to Norwood.
