Adelaide’s Round Five SANFL game has been postponed until Sunday morning after a technical issue with a light tower at Noarlunga on Saturday night.
The SANFL Crows were scheduled to play the top-of-the-table Panthers at 7.10pm on Saturday evening at Hickinbotham Oval.
However, the lights at the south-eastern corner of the venue powered down on two occasions during the curtain-raiser between local sides Reynella and Happy Valley.
Another outage also occurred just minutes before the main event while Adelaide was completing its warm up, forcing an initial delay to the scheduled start of the match.

Unable to guarantee the lights would remain on for the remainder of the night, SANFL staff officially postponed the match at 7.18pm. Both clubs agreed with the decision.
The match will now be contested on Sunday (May 2) at 11.30am at Noarlunga Oval, with free entry for all fans and spectators.
The incident comes eight days after Adelaide’s Round Four clash with Glenelg was cut short due to a local power outage in the area. The game was declared a draw midway through the final term.
