Adelaide’s travel bookings will be limited to three states in Season 2016.
The Crows will play seven of their ten interstate games in Victoria and have two trips to Perth. The other game will be against Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium (Round Nine).
This means there are no Crows matches scheduled in Sydney, the ACT, the Northern Territory or Tasmania next season.
The six games in Melbourne will be split between the Melbourne Cricket Ground (against Hawthorn, Melbourne and Carlton) and Etihad Stadium, where the Crows open the 2016 season against North Melbourne on March 26. Adelaide last played three minor round games at the MCG in 2013.
The other game in Victoria will be against Geelong at Simonds Stadium in Round 18.
The Perth trips will be two months apart, with the clash with West Coast in Round 12 and then the game against Fremantle in Round 21.
Adelaide’s fixture features 12 games at Adelaide Oval including an ‘away’ Showdown against Port Adelaide in Round 22. The Crows will host 2015 finalists Sydney (Round Four), Fremantle (Round Six), North Melbourne (Round 14) and West Coast (Round 23).
Essendon will play for the first time against Adelaide at Adelaide Oval in Round 19. Only the Western Bulldogs and Carlton are yet to play the Crows at the venue.
It will be the sixth consecutive year Adelaide plays Carlton once a season, in Melbourne.
