Defender Kyle Hartigan has accepted a one-match suspension for an incident in Friday night’s SANFL clash with Norwood.
With an early guilty plea, Hartigan was offered a one-match ban for striking Norwood’s Ed Smart in the early minutes of the final term of Adelaide's match against the Redlegs.
The suspension means the 23-year-old will miss Sunday’s ‘SANFL Showdown’ against Port Adelaide at Balaklava. Hartigan is now also unavailable for Adelaide’s AFL clash with St Kilda on Saturday afternoon.
Crows development player Matthew Wilson has also accepted a two-match sanction from the SANFL Incident Review Panel for a separate incident during the Round Six clash.
Wilson, who made his League debut with Adelaide on Friday night against the Redlegs, was initially cited for making forceful front-on contact with Norwood’s Peter Persinos in the first quarter.
