Adelaide is not concerned by the drawing out of contract negotiations with star midfielders Rory Sloane and Patrick Dangerfield, club CEO Andrew Fagan says.
The pair fall out of contract at season's end, with Dangerfield set to become the hottest free agent in the game if he fails to re-sign at West Lakes.
St Kilda confirmed its interest in Sloane last week, only for the 25-year-old to describe the connection with the Saints as a "media beat-up".
Richard Douglas is another high-profile Crow yet to re-sign, although he insists his new deal will become public midway through the season.
Speaking at the launch of Adelaide's new health and well-being program Growing with Gratitude, Fagan said he wasn't frustrated contract talks were dragging on.
"We're eight weeks into the season, we've got a whole lot of players as we do every year to retain or to recruit and it's a process we're working through and we're comfortable with where that's at," Fagan said.
"Every single time I come out we won't comment on contracts, but we're not going to provide feedback … when we've got news to provide we'll provide it."
The Crows will require Dangerfield at his absolute best on Saturday night when they take on Fremantle at Adelaide Oval.
The Dockers remain the only undefeated side in the competition, although Crows skipper Taylor Walker said their impressive record meant they were "due for a loss".
If Walker and his teammates are to upset the ladder-leaders they'll need a much faster start than they managed against Greater Western Sydney on Saturday.
The Giants kicked the opening five goals of the game to win by 24 points; Adelaide has won just three of its first terms this year.
Walker said it would prove a major focus in the lead-up to Saturday night's game.
"We had our review and obviously it was a thing that came up – you can't give a team a four or five-goal head start," he said.
"It is an issue for us but we're well aware of it and we're trying to fix it."
Rory Laird was taken off on a stretcher with concussion and Sam Kerridge suffered an ankle injury against the Giants and Walker wasn't sure whether either player would be fit to face the Dockers.
Adelaide is missing a growing number of its best players and was found out against the Giants, whose midfield was able to get away from the Crows.
Richard Douglas (foot), Brad Crouch (foot) and Rory Sloane (cheekbone) are all expected to return either immediately or soon after the club's bye in Round 11.
More than 150 schools throughout Adelaide have already registered for the club's Growing with Gratitude program, which aims to teach students, families and teachers about leading healthier and happier lives.
