On a wet night at Football Park in round 12 of 1991, Adelaide trailed by nine points with 67 seconds to play.

But then David Marshall goaled and moments before the siren, Jameson was awarded a free kick within range.

The final siren blew as he lined up but his 45m kick was on target and the Crows fans who had stayed to the end held their breath as the ball avoided the fingers of the Fitzroy defenders.

Hundreds of Crows fans last year submitted their rankings of a range of memorable moments from the first 20 seasons of the Crows.

The last round win over Collingwood in 1993 was No 17, Ben Hart’s spectacular mark of the year in 1996 was ranked at No 18 and the first two greatest moments were the launch of the team guernsey, name and logo back in November 1990 (No 20) and Adelaide’s first game against opposition on January 31, 1991 (No 19).
