While a few smaller deals got ticked off, the first full week of the NAB AFL Trade Period finished with a number of bigger fish still to be caught.
Jake Carlisle, Adam Treloar, Chris Yarran and James Aish were all yet to find new homes when business closed on Friday afternoon.
Greater Western Sydney waved goodbye to two more of its young players, with Jacob Townsend off to Richmond and Curtly Hampton to Adelaide, while young Hawk Jed Anderson was sent to the Kangaroos.

Another Treloar twist
The proposed deal to get Greater Western Sydney's Adam Treloar to Collingwood inches closer, but might have hit another snag.
The Herald Sun is reporting the young Giant had secret post-season surgery in Tasmania on his injured groin.
The Giants are now seeking clarification from Treloar and his manager Peter Blucher, who said: "I’m not saying anything about anything until everything is done. I’m not saying a word about anything."
Collingwood assured the Giants it had no involvement in the operation.
The Pies have reportedly added a late-round draft pick in addition to pick No.7 in this year’s draft and their first-round selection next year to get the deal done.
Young Giant Jeremy Finlayson - an academy product - has also been linked to the deal.
Pies close in on trio
Treloar is not the only player Collingwood is trying to secure with Demon Jeremy Howe and Lion James Aishalso wanting to join the club.
While North Melbourne has renewed its interest in Aish, the 19-year-old remains determined to join the Pies.
The Age reports a complex three-way deal involving Collingwood, Carlton and the Brisbane Lions is being negotiated.
The deal would see Blue Tom Bell get to the Lions, Aish get to the Pies and a series of picks exchanged.
Another multi-club deal is being discussed that could see Howe get to Collingwood, Ben Kennedy to Melbourne,Jimmy Toumpas to Port Adelaide and Paul Seedsman to Adelaide.
Race for Carlisle getting messy
After another dramatic day of talks between Essendon and St Kilda, Jake Carlisle appears further away than ever from becoming a Saint.
The Saints put their first offer to the Bombers on Friday afternoon, reported by AFL.com.au to be picks No.5 and 63 in exchange for Carlisle and the Bombers' two early second-round picks (No.23 and 25).
Trade wrap: Carlisle talks at breaking point
Essendon was quick to knock it back, saying there was still a significant gap between how the club valued the key defender.
Although Carlisle has not agreed on a move to Hawthorn, it appears the Bombers are still far keener on the Hawks' offer of picks No.15 and No.18.
If talks break down between the Bombers and Saints, AFL.com.au understands the 24-year-old could attempt to reach his preferred home via the pre-season draft.
Lions juggling players and picks
There was plenty of activity at the Gabba on Friday with North Melbourne's Ryan Bastinac, Richmond's David Astbury and Geelong pair Jarrad Jansen and Josh Walker all touring the facilities.
Bastinac, who is contracted for two more years, could be a central figure in helping to find young Lion James Aisha new home.
Although Aish would prefer a move to Collingwood, Kangaroos list manager Cameron Joyce confirmed their interest on NAB AFL Trade Radio.
Bastinac could be packaged with two of North's second-round draft picks, most likely No.38 and 40, to satisfy the Lions.
The Age is reporting the Lions, Richmond and Carlton are exploring a deal that would see the Lions secure Astbury and Tom Bell, Richmond land Chris Yarran and the Blues add some draft picks.
It appears a deal to get Walker and Jansen to the Gabba is imminent, while Hawk Brendan Whitecross is also of interest to the Lions and GWS.
Blues up their Giant raid
Even after the loss of Townsend and Hampton to trade, and the impending move of Treloar, the floodgates could open even further at GWS.
Giant Jed Lamb is still expected to land at Carlton, possibly in a package deal with ruckman Andrew Phillips, midfielder Liam Sumner and defender Lachie Plowman.
Former Giant and now Blues list manager Stephen Silvagni is having a ball picking the eyes out of a list he helped to create.
Getting Yarran to Richmond is still Carlton's priority.
Tell Saints they're dreamin', say fans
More than 16,000 footy fans believe St Kilda is asking too much from Essendon as the clubs try to orchestrate a trade for wantaway Bomber Jake Carlisle.
St Kilda is prepared to give up pick No.5 in this year’s draft for Carlisle, but the Saints also want 23 and 25 from Essendon.
When AFL.com.au asked footy fans if the deal was fair, votes piled in thick and fast. By Saturday morning, more than 32,000 people had registered a vote, an incredible figure considering the poll went up late on Friday night.
Not all fans, however, think St Kilda's request is too outrageous. The 'Saints are dreaming' option is winning the poll at 54 per cent, with 46 per cent believing the Bombers have to give up Carlisle and something extra for St Kilda's valuable draft pick.
