Dashing Collingwood defender Paul Seedsman has nominated Adelaide as his preferred club for 2016 and beyond.
Seedsman, 23, has played 49 AFL games for the Magpies since making his debut in Round One, 2012.
Head of Football David Noble said the Crows would now hold talks with the Magpies about a trade for the out-of-contract Seedsman.
“We’re pleased Paul has nominated our Club,” Noble said.
“We will now work closely with the Collingwood Football Club to facilitate a trade which is suitable for both parties.”
Seedsman was originally recruited with pick No.76 in the 2010 National Draft.
