Adelaide has elevated Tim McIntyre to the primary list as a mid-season nominated rookie.
This makes him eligible for selection, if required, in the Crows side for the rest of season 2012.
As of round 12, AFL rules stipulate each club is able to promote one rookie to its senior list without placing another player on the long-term injury list.
McIntyre, 23, is a small marking forward who has been in good form with Sturt in the SANFL, booting nine goals in the past two games.
He was picked by the Crows as a rookie last December and first wore the Crows guernsey in this year’s NAB Cup competition. The former AIS-AFL Academy graduate relocated to Adelaide from his native Corowa, NSW, at the end of 2008 in a bid to keep his AFL dream alive.
