Unsatisfied with Adelaide being one of the AFL's most attacking sides, Crows forward Tom Lynch is adamant his team can challenge for the mantle of becoming the most damaging in 2016.
The Club was ranked third for points per game in 2015, behind Hawthorn and West Coast, and was the only side in the League to have three players boot at least 45 goals.
Eddie Betts slotted 63, skipper Taylor Walker 59 and Josh Jenkins booted 46.
Speaking from South Australia's Mid North while on Adelaide's community camp, Lynch told AFL Media the forward line had plenty of room for improvement.
Pointing to the lack of experience of the Club's front six - Betts (229) and Walker (107) are the only Crows forwards with at least 100 games of senior experience - Lynch expected the attack to function more efficiently as its chemistry improved.
"We were at the top of that area last year in terms of scoring but you can always get better – we weren't top," Lynch said.
"There are a lot of areas we've looked to improve over the summer and we think we'll be able to create a few more goals for us per game, but also help with the team defence as well.
"Last year we were able to play some footy together but we're still pretty inexperienced - I mean myself and Josh Jenkins have played under 100 games, Charlie Cameron's played under 50 (as has Troy Menzel).
"Tex and Eddie are the guys who have played over 100 but we've all still probably only played one-and-a-half seasons together.
"Building that continuity and then with a few new guys coming in hopefully we can gel nicely and score a bit more efficiently."
Finals taste has Knight hungry for more
Lynch played a critical role in Adelaide's forward line last year, leading the League for goal assists (30) and kicking 32 goals off his own boot.
His campaign followed an incredibly frustrating 2014 season in which a broken jaw was sandwiched between a dislocated shoulder and a broken neck.
With interchange rotations to be reduced further this year, Lynch said his run could be required at times from the wing.
"It's been mentioned by a few people a few times already, but with the fewer rotations, you've got to be able to play multiple positions on the ground," he said.
"Hopefully I can add that string to my game and play in a few more positions around the ground.
"Obviously the forward line is where my strength is so I've got to make that my own."
