There was a brotherly theme on afc.com.au this week as young Crow Mitch McGovern prepares to line up against brother Jeremy for the first time ever on a football field.
The competitive siblings will be on different teams and, possibly even be direct opponents, when Adelaide takes on West Coast at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
We spoke to Mitch about the prospect of playing on his brother, and the sledging between the pair in the lead-up to the match.
Inspired by the McGovern boys, we took a look at the Crows players involved in AFL sibling rivalries.
Premiership player Matthew Robran revealed the unusual way in which his brother Jonathon tried to put him off when the duo did battle in during their careers.
On Wednesday, the Club threw its support behind the #freezeforMND campaign.
Crows players, coaches and staff wore Cure for MND beanies ahead of the ‘Big Freeze 2’ at the MCG before the Queen’s Birthday clash between Melbourne and Collingwood.
Coach Don Pyke spoke about the extra significance of the campaign for his family.

We caught up with South Australian women’s footballer Ebony Marinoff about her brush with Crows star Eddie Betts at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Betts, who was watching the state game between SA and NSW/ACT from the players’ race, tried to assist the 18-year-old with a tip to use the checkside kick from an awkward angle in the forward pocket. But Marinoff didn’t need the mercurial goalkicker’s help and slotted the goal anyway!
Wingman Paul Seedsman also generated a lot of interest on Sunday. The long-kicking former Magpie donned a long-sleeved guernsey, joining a short list of Crows players to have done so.
The most popular video of the week on afc.com.au was the latest Domain Crow Cribs where Sam Jacobs toured the home of Mitch McGovern, Reilly O’Brien and Harry Dear. ‘Deary’ showed us one of his party tricks! Watch the video in the player at the top of this page.
