Adelaide captain Taylor Walker remains a chance to take on Essendon after scans revealed no significant damage to his ankle.
Walker came off the ground in the last quarter against Geelong and took no further part in the game.
Crows General Manager High Performance Brett Burton said Walker would be given every opportunity to play on Sunday.
“Taylor had scans on his right ankle and fortunately they revealed no significant damage,” Burton said.
“He will go through normal recovery protocols and a decision on whether he plays on Sunday will be made later in the week.”
