For the second consecutive week Rory Sloane received the most votes in the Fans’ Most Valuable Player award.
Sloane picked up 35% of the total votes from Friday night’s game against Hawthorn and for the third week in a row Scott Thompson was the second-ranked player.
Others votes were spread across the team but first-year forward Mitch McGovern impressed the fans and young wingman Rory Atkins also picked up some points.
Thompson is still the overall leader, with 85 points, and Sloane now has 82. The star midfielders have opened a gap on Rory Laird (49).
Voting opens after every game and stays open until about 5pm on Tuesday.
Assign three votes to the player you deem to be the best Crows player, two votes to the second best player and one vote to the third best.
At the end of the voting period all the votes are added up but there are a maximum of 100 points per game that can be awarded to the entire team. Each player is then given a percentage of the total votes received to go towards their season tally.
At the end of the year the player who is at the top of the season leaderboard is crowned the Fans’ Most Valuable Player.
