Adelaide

RORY SLOANE
Another stellar season for the midfielder gives Sloane a huge chance to add to his 2013 Club Champion win. His work at contested ball situations, both when the Crows do and don't have the ball, is elite. The Crouch brothers have missed games and Scott Thompson remains a consistent ball-winner but Sloane has kept Adelaide's midfield in good stead so far this season.

His numbers stack up strongly. The tough-nut onballer ranks sixth in the league for tackles (81), is equal-ninth for contested possessions (156) and leads the Crows for disposals and hard-ball gets. He's also top-three at the Club for clearances and inside 50ms.

Anyone else?
The highest-scoring team in the competition is led by Josh Jenkins and Eddie Betts, who rank fourth and fifth in the Coleman Medal respectively. Daniel Talia has been extremely solid down back and could add a second Malcolm Blight Medal to his trophy cabinet, while Brodie Smith's run and elite kicking skills are critical to Adelaide's ball movement.
