Former Melbourne co-captain Jack Grimes is among five additions to the Demons’ squad for Sunday’s clash with Adelaide at the MCG.
Livewire Jeff Garlett, ball-winner Viv Michie, utility Matt Jones and tough-nut James Harmes have also been added to the squad of 25.
All five inclusions have been named on the extended interchange, along with another former co-skipper Jack Trengove and small forward Ben Kennedy. The final team will be named on Friday night.
Dees’ rookie Josh Wagner won’t play due to a knee injury, while first-year player Clayton Oliver has been omitted.
It will be the first match Wagner has missed since he made his AFL debut in Round Three against North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena.
