Two AFLW listed Crows have been selected in the 2018 VFLW Team of the Year following impressive performances with the NT Thunder this season.
Skipper Angela Foley, who is also joint vice-captain of the AFLW Crows, led from the front, averaging 22 disposals, three clearances, four tackles and a goal a game across the 12 matches she played.
The 29-year-old was named as a follower in the VFLW Team of the Year as a result and achieved a podium finish for the Lambert-Pearce Medal at the VFL Best and Fairest on Monday night.
With 16 votes, she finished third just behind Darebin’s Lauren Pearce (17) and overall winner, Williamstown’s Jess Duffin (23).

Foley became the inaugural winner of the NT Thunder women’s best and fairest with 91 votes, after she had the second most kicks in the competition with 212 and the second most inside 50s with 57.
Northern Territory-based, Foley will return to Adelaide for her third season with the Crows in 2019 after signing on for another year.

Versatile forward Jess Sedunary was also named in the team as a half-forward after averaging 1.5 goals across her 10 matches.
She finished third on the goal kicking tally behind Carlton’s Darcy Vescio (26) and Darebin’s Hannah Mouncey (19).
The gusty 27-year-old also averaged 14 disposals, four tackles and four inside 50s for the Thunder.
She will also return to her home town of Adelaide for her third AFLW season in 2019.

Foley and Sedunary are two of eleven Adelaide AFLW listed players who lined up for the Thunder this season.
The Thunder were knocked out of the finals on Sunday after going down to Geelong by nine points.
Crows key forward Sarah Perkins has also played in the VFLW this year, lining up for Hawthorn.
She will play in her first VFLW grand final in two weeks time.
