Fans heading to the Crows’ clash against West Coast at Adelaide Oval on Friday night are advised to allow extra travel time due to industrial action by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union, including work stoppages.
The SA Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure has advised that the Belair and Grange Adelaide Metro and Mac Footy Express Trains will be impacted the most and will not operate until after 7pm.
Substitute buses will be in place for these services.
Other Adelaide Metro and MAC Footy Express train services may also be affected by reduced frequency and capability across the network.
MAC Footy Express bus and tram services are expected to operate as normal, however all fans using public transport to get to the game should allow additional travel time.
In addition, the stoppages may mean more people choose to drive on Friday – so no matter which method of transport you are using to travel to the game, it’s wise to leave early.
The ride home should be a little easier, with all train services expected to return to normal schedule after 7pm, including the Belair and Grange lines.
