Jake Kelly has taken out the 2km time trial as the full Crows squad returned to training on Monday.
Kelly, 21, finished ahead of wingmen Rory Atkins and David Mackay, defenders Brodie Smith and Rory Laird and reigning Club Champion Rory Sloane in group one.
In a repeat of the first time trial of the pre-season, rookie-listed forward/ruckman Paul Hunter claimed the honours in the second group. Hunter was followed by Scott Thompson and backmen Andy Otten and Daniel Talia.
Talia (adductor) and Jake Lever (ankle) both ran well after recovering from injuries sustained in Adelaide’s Semi-Final loss to the Sydney Swans in September.
Riley Knight, who edged out Kelly in the last time trial, wasn’t required to run again on Monday.
It was the first time this pre-season that the entire squad has trained together. Adelaide’s 1-4 year players have been training for three weeks, but 5+ year players weren’t required back until Monday.
