Carlton has named Dennis Armfield among four possible inclusions for Sunday’s clash against Adelaide at the MCG.

Armfield has missed the past two games with a groin injury and could replace young Irish defender Ciaran Byrne, who will be sidelined for 12 months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in last Saturday night’s loss to Collingwood at the MCG.

Dylan Buckley, Nick Graham and Jason Tutt were also included in the 25-man squad.

The squad includes two former Crows, Matthew Wright and Sam Kerridge, who will play against Adelaide for the first time.
