Kyle Hartigan has joined the Adelaide Crows Children's Foundation Board as the Foundation’s player representative.
Kyle will be the primary link between the playing group and the Foundation to ensure all charity support work is valued by the team.
Hartigan replaces retired Crow Jason Porplyzia on the board.
Kyle formed a close bond with Jason upon his arrival at the Crows, with Porplyzia encouraging Hartigan to become involved with the Club’s charitable arm. Porplyzia and Hartigan shaved their heads, along with Sam Shaw and Sam Kerridge in Rundle Mall for the Leukaemia Foundation two years ago.
The Foundation is close to selecting its new charity partners for season 2015, which will see up to $100,000 distributed to worthy children's charities across the state.
Established in 2005, the Adelaide Crows Children's Foundation has now distributed over $1,000,000 to support children in need in SA.
