Adelaide’s 72-point win on Sunday was the Club’s biggest over Fremantle since 2009.

The victory helped the Crows consolidate third spot on the AFL ladder, percentage behind the second-placed Sydney Swans.

It’s the first time Adelaide has secured two victories on West Australian soil in a single season.

Rory Laird was the leading possession-getter at Domain Stadium. Laird chalked up 33 possessions, seven marks, four inside 50ms and also laid four tackles.

The in-form defender is ranked third in the AFL for total disposals (105) over the past three weeks.

Since returning frominjury in Round 11, he’s averaged 29 possessions – No.1 amongall defenders in the AFL.

Young Crow Rory Atkins collected a career-best 32 touches at 84.4 per cent efficiency. Atkins also sent the ball inside Adelaide’s attacking 50m four times and kicked a goal.

Richard Douglas finished with a season-high 30 disposals, including 17 in the third quarter alone.

Hard-running forward Tom Lynch took a game-high 10 marks.

Adelaide took 20 marks inside 50m to Fremantle’s four on Sunday.

Wingman David Mackay applied an equal game-high eight tackles.

Scott Thompson generated more forward 50m entries (seven) than any player on the ground.

The Crows had 11 different goalkickers in their big win. Betts led the way with a season-high six goals, while Josh Jenkins (five) and Tom Lynch (two) also kicked multiple goals. Defender Jake Lever received a Goal of the Year nomination for his first AFL goal in the second quarter.

Betts equalled Swans superstar Lance Franklin for the most goals for the round. The All Australian Crow also took an equal round-high six marks inside 50m on the weekend.

Betts is fourth in the Coleman Medal race with 60 goals. Franklin leads the way with 70, while Jenkins is fifth (57). Betts has kicked more goals (27) than any other player in the competition since Adelaide’s mid-season bye (Round 14).

Jenkins was the No.1 player for scoreboard impact according to Champion Data in Round 21.

Jenkins, Atkins and Douglas were each involved in 11 Adelaide scores at Domain Stadium.

Kyle Cheney won 11 intercept possessions – second only to Gold Coast defender Steven May (14) for the round.

Defender Luke Brown gained 575 metres on Sunday – the most of any Crow.

Adelaide scored109 points from turnovers on the weekend – nearly double that of thenext-best team for the round, Hawthorn (64).
