Ladder-leader Adelaide is placing extra emphasis on Friday night's blockbuster with Sydney after the Swans ended their season last year.
The two form sides in the competition will square off at Adelaide Oval for the first time since the Swans beat the Crows by 36 points in a Semi-Final at the SCG in 2016.
"It's a pretty important game on Friday night, I would've thought, after what Sydney did to us in the finals, so we're looking to finish the season out," Crows assistant coach Scott Camporeale said.
"We learned some valuable lessons out of that game, and we'd like to think we've improved since that final in all three phases of the game.
"Friday night will be a great chance to see where we're at heading into a finals series."
The Crows have guaranteed themselves a top-two berth with two rounds remaining, while the Swans have won 12 of their past 14 games to rocket back into premiership contention after losing their first six games of the year.
Whether the Crows have their two leaders for the possible Grand Final preview remains to be seen.
Skipper Taylor Walker (toe) and vice-captain Rory Sloane (knee) will be assessed by the Club's medical staff on Monday.
Walker came from the ground in the first quarter of last weekend's 43-point win over Essendon, while Sloane left in the third term, but the star duo finished the game.
"They played the game out, so we're hopeful they'll be OK," Camporeale said.
Walker had scans on his foot last week, but Camporeale said it was a different issue, and the captain had stubbed his toe in the Etihad Stadium turf.
The Crows are also yet to release an update on the extent of utility Andy Otten's ankle injury sustained at training last Thursday.
"I'm not exactly sure when he'll come back, but it was a decent one," Camporeale said.
"We're hopeful he'll be right before the finals, but I don't have a real timeframe on him."
Key defender Kyle Hartigan is set to return to training this week after re-injuring his hamstring in the SANFL a fortnight ago.
