Adelaide will become the first AFL club to live stream video in 360 degrees ahead of Friday night’s blockbuster against the Sydney Swans.
Working with Telstra and Adelaide-based virtual reality studio Jumpgate VR, the Crows expanded their virtual reality presence earlier this season and will now bring live vision to the official Club App straight from Adelaide Oval prior to the opening bounce.
Fans will be able to transport themselves directly into the fever-pitch atmosphere and into the inner sanctum of the Crows change rooms as the players prepare for one of the biggest clashes of the season.

Crows CEO Andrew Fagan said the Club was committed to being at the forefront of technology advancements that enhanced fan engagement.
“We initially partnered with Jumpgate in 2014 to roll out one of the first virtual reality experiences in Australian professional sport, allowing our fans to go through the banner ahead of Ben Rutten’s final game. This is another first,” Fagan said.
“We will continue to be a leader in this country with the integration and trialing of new technologies that provide our 600,000 plus supporters with unique engagement opportunities that enhance their experience, whether they are at the game or not.
“We are fortunate to have some of the most passionate and loyal Members and fans in professional sport and we want them to have the chance to be a part of the inner sanctum of the Club and interact with the us like never before.
“This is an exciting era for everyone associated with the Club.”
