Greater Western Sydney veteran Ryan Griffen could return for Thursday night’s Qualifying Final with Adelaide.
The hard-running midfielder last played at senior level in Round Three after suffering back-to-back ankle injuries, but has returned to the main training group in recent weeks.
He is the only player on Greater Western Sydney’s injury list with the exception of defenders Matt Buntine and Adam Kennedy, who won't play again this season due to knee injuries.
Griffen, 31, had 16 disposals and five clearances in the Giants' 56-point loss to the Crows in Round One.
The former Western Bulldogs captain has appeared in five finals campaigns throughout his career and could bring a wealth of September experience to the Giants ahead of their first consecutive finals series.
