The Western Bulldogs could welcome back Tom Liberatore for Friday night’s clash with the Crows at Adelaide Oval.

The midfielder will face a test this week to ensure he’s recovered from a corky sustained during the Bulldogs' Round 14 clash with North Melbourne.

Liberatore pulled up sore and subsequently missed the club's clash with West Coast last Saturday.

He’ll need to satisfy the medical staff before being considered for selection, said Bulldogs Head Physiotherapist Chris Bell.

“During training last week (Tom) struggled to hit his top end speed so we pulled him out of contention for the weekend,” Bell told westernbulldogs.com.au.

“During this week we’ll work through a process with Tom and if he’s able to get back to top end speed, we’ll put him up for selection.”

Utility Tom Boyd (calf) and midfielder Lukas Webb (ankle) continue to battle injury and will be assessed throughout the week.

Boyd was a late withdrawal from Footscray's VFL thriller against Collingwood at Victoria Park.
