Adelaide is confident star forward Eddie Betts will overcome illness in time for the side's Round Two game with Hawthorn at the MCG on Saturday.
The dual All Australian was sick and didn't take part in the Crows' main training session of the week at Football Park on Thursday.
But the Club is in no doubt Betts will be able to take his place in the side to face the Hawks.
The 30-year-old carried on his spectacular form of the past two seasons in last weekend's victory over Greater Western Sydney, booting four goals and having 18 possessions.
Crows captain Taylor Walker and fellow forward Mitch McGovern both trained on Thursday.
Walker is set to return from a hamstring injury sustained in the side's final JLT Community Series game against the Brisbane Lions.
Saturday's game with the Hawks will be 21 days since the skipper's hamstring played up – the usual minimum recovery period for a hamstring strain.
McGovern picked up an ankle injury against the Giants and came off the ground several times.
The exciting young forward also sustained a head knock during the game.
