Hard-working forward Tom Lynch has been recognised in the AFL’s Team of the Week for the second time in three games.

Lynch, 26, was a shining light for Adelaide on an otherwise disappointing night at Simonds Stadium last Friday.

The versatile Crow collected 20 possessions, took six marks, had four inside 50ms and kicked two goals against the Cats. Lynch also ranked equal-second across the League for score involvements (12) behind only Collingwood’s Adam Treloar for the round.

He was named in a forward pocket in the Round 11 Team of the Week. Unsurprisingly, Lynch was the only Crow to feature.

Lynch earned his first Team of the Week appearance of 2017 in Round Nine against Brisbane.

Geelong and Greater Western Sydney had four representatives in this week’s side ahead of Collingwood and Port Adelaide which had three players each. Two players from Essendon, Gold Coast and Richmond were named while West Coast joined Adelaide with a single player included.
