The Adelaide Football Club supports the strong action taken by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority against a spectator who lit a flare at last night's match.
The individual, who is not a Member of the Club, has now been banned from the Oval for life.
We also commend the crowd on the Northern Mound for grabbing this individual until police arrived.
Football fans have the right to expect that the wonderful Adelaide Oval experience will be safe and family friendly.
Such anti-social behaviour has no place in sport and individuals who do not understand this are not welcome in our game.
