Star forward Eddie Betts is set to reach another milestone this week.
Betts, 30, will draw level with Brisbane Lions triple-premiership winner Darryl White in sixth spot for most games by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island player.
On Friday night, the two-time All Australian will line up in his 268th AFL game. It will be his 84th game for the Crows since switching from Carlton, where he played 184 matches.
Sydney Swans champion and dual Brownlow Medallist Adam Goodes holds the Indigenous games record with 372 ahead of Adelaide legend Andrew McLeod (340).
Betts will mark the milestone in NAIDOC Week, which celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements and is an opportunity to recognise the contributions that Indigenous Australians make to our country and our society.
The achievement follows Betts qualifying for AFL Life Membership last weekend in his 300th official game, which includes premiership matches, as well as pre-season and International Rules appearances.
The brilliant veteran, who has kicked 516 career goals, needs eight more to move into the top 50 goalkickers in VFL/AFL history.
