Adelaide coach Bec Goddard is giving her side the licence to play with freedom, as the defending NAB AFLW premiers aim to continue their resurgence.
Sunday's encounter with Greater Western Sydney at Blacktown International Sportspark takes on great significance, with the two clubs sitting sixth and seventh on the ladder respectively with 1-2 records.
The Crows are coming off a rousing seven-point victory over the previously unbeaten Western Bulldogs at Norwood Oval, while the Giants defeated Collingwood by 13 points at Olympic Park Oval.
"The girls have been instructed to play with a bit of freedom and a bit of confidence," Goddard told reporters on Friday.
"We don't mind making mistakes if you're taking a really positive risk.
"That's what we've continued to talk about this week."
The Crows have been bolstered by the return of All-Australian defender Courtney Cramey and fellow joint vice-captain Angela Foley.
Cramey missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury, while Foley is back after serving a one-game suspension.
"It's really exciting to have Courtney and Ange," Goddard said.
"They're experienced premiership players, CJ especially is itching to go, so can't wait to see her play."

Cramey's return should allow gutsy co-captain Chelsea Randall to roam the ground and play through the midfield, after doing a sensational job at centre half-back.
"Chelsea's been an unbelievable workhorse over the last three weeks and we've had to play her down back and in that fixed key defender position," Goddard said.
"In terms of leadership, it helps.
"We've got Erin (Phillips) back in the side, we've got Angela back in the side. We've got Chelsea.
"It just helps that standard of leadership across the field, and it doesn't fall to one person to do it."
Reigning AFLW best and fairest Phillips has had a light week on the training track after her match-winning four-goal performance against the Bulldogs in her first game back from a quad injury.
The Crows only had two goalkickers last week, with Phillips and Jenna McCormick booting six goals between them.
Goddard said the job of the forwards was more than just hitting the scoreboard.
"Even if you look at our goalkickers last year, it's not a game where you've got a bit longer to kick many goals," she said.
"We had a great meeting with some of our forwards last night.
"We don't expect them to kick five, six, seven goals a week, but let's just bring that positive communication and pressure, locking the ball inside the forward 50 so the goalkickers can actually do their work, that's what we expect."
Winger Rheanne Lugg is expected to miss one week with a wrist injury, while utility Jasmyn Hewett (knee) has been named.
