It’s not only Adelaide’s senior side who are off to Port Pirie in 2019, with the SANFL Crows also making the trip for a Showdown with Port Adelaide for Indigenous Round.
The Crows will travel to the hometown of club legend Mark Bickley on Saturday, July 13 for a 2.40pm start at Port Pirie Oval.
It will be the Club’s second visit to the regional town for the year with a pre-season Showdown booked in for the first match of the JLT Community Series.
Adelaide’s 2019 SANFL campaign will start on Saturday, March 30 with a Round One clash with Sturt at Peter Motley Oval.
For ANZAC Round, the Crows will face Central District at X Convenience Oval on Easter Saturday.

The clash will be the first of five SANFL Crows matches to be televised live and free on Channel Seven in South Australia.
Adelaide will have its first break of the season between Rounds Six and Seven for the state game between the SANFL and the WAFL.
Family Round will be held in Round 14 when Adelaide take on North Adelaide at Prospect Oval on Saturday, July 20.
The final round of the home and away season, where Adelaide is to meet South Adelaide, will again be a ‘floating’ fixture for all clubs, with the days and times of the Round 18 games to be announced later.
All matches in the finals series will be played at Adelaide Oval, beginning on the final weekend of August.
The Grand Final will take place on Sunday, September 22; a week before the AFL Grand Final on September 28.
