The star defender ranks second in the AFL for average disposals (32.9 per game – 11 games), behind only Hawthorn’s Tom Mitchell (34.6 per game – 12 games). Matt Crouch ranks ninth (29.8 per game – nine games).
Laird also ranks No. 1 in the AFL for loose ball gets (5.5 per game) and uncontested possessions (20.5 per game).
Bryce Gibbs is the Crows’ top-ranked midfielder, with 96.2 ranking points per game.
Josh Jenkins is the team’s leading goalkicker so far in 2018, with 21 majors from 13 games. Eddie Betts (19 goals) and Taylor Walker (18 goals) sit just behind him.
Jenkins also leads his team for goal assists with 10, tied with wingman Paul Seedsman.

Paul Seedsman and Rory Laird both rank top three in the AFL for long kicks per game for players who have played more than one game in 2018, with 6.9 per game and 6.2 per game respectively. Hawk James Sicily sits second with 6.4 per game.
