Draftee Andrew McPherson will be a Crow until at least the end of 2021 after signing a two-year contract extension.
Taken with pick No.40 in the 2017 National Draft, McPherson is a medium-sized defender who reads the ball well and has neat skills.
The 18-year-old said he was thrilled to extend his time at West Lakes.
“It’s a great environment to be around at the Club and everyone has been so welcoming in my first year,” McPherson said.
“To get drafted to Adelaide was awesome and to know that I will be here for at least a few more years is fantastic.”
Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said McPherson is a promising young talent with a bright future.
“Heading into the 2017 National Draft we rated Andrew really highly and we were thrilled to get him with pick No.40,” Reid said.
“He’s just returned to full fitness after an injury-interrupted start to the year and we look forward to him showing his ability in the second half of the season.”
